to Paget..re colon surgery

Paget,

Just to let you know..I have had all but 8 inches of my colon

removed, and my youngest sister has had the surgery your doctors are

talking about. She had her entire colon removed, and her small

intestine turned into a J-pouch. None of us (4 kids in totalwho have

had our colon or most of it removed) have any problems, and we have

never to this day experienced any form of blockage or constipation,

as one of the side effects of this surgery is medium loose to loose

stools, and just having to go more frequently..
