Guest guest
- Part of how you feel now depends on how you felt before. Were you in pain before? I feel GREAT before my stenting and sphrincteronomy. I can tell my minor papilla is closed (I have pancreas divisum - only a minor papilla that functions), because I get twinges, like I might be getting an attack. I usually am in ALOT of pain for three days after the procedure. I take oxycontin and don't remember much for two or three days. On the fourth day, I start to wean off the pain meds and can function fairly normally. Within a week, I am pretty much back to normal - whatever that is:). Actually, I am off pain meds in a week or ten days and am back to working out and exercising again. I hope this helps. It seems that three weeks post procedure would be along time to still be in so much pain, but again, I can only share from my personal experience.
