The whole process of weight-loss surgery is stressing, from deciding to do

it,getting a PCP to listen & refer you,to the insurance nightmare.I can only

dream of how I would feel if I had gone through all that, only to get no

results!!!! I've been fighting my own battle, trying to get insurance approval. To

find that it was an excluded surgery was very depressing. I left the group for

over a month,bc I couldn't stand reading everyones' success stories. Imagine,for

a moment, how feels, having had the surgery?! I finally found out

that, through my work,I can switch to BCBS of NC in Nov. I had my ins.lady at

work check with BCBS about the surgery, before I went to all the trouble of

switching. They called her & said with Dr. R's letter, they see no problem!!!! My

insurance is activated in Jan, & I plan to get the surgery ASAP!!! All this

said, the past 6months since I decided to have this surgery, have been the most

stressful & depressing months of my life. I have seen days that I have been

brought to tears by it all.I keep telling myself, that in the end,it will be all

worth it.I am sure that is what thought too.'s outcome is a

worse-case scenario, but it could have happened to any one of us.RED
