I am not not offended but I am laughing! We don't have an inner

city hospital or a prison ward but believe me I would try anything!

This reminds me of an episode of ER I saw one time where they were

looking for an IV spot on a drug addict. The guy is sitting there

and everyplace they would go he would tell them it was pointless.

The drug addict finally took the HUGE syringe from the doctor and

jammed it up into the vein by his clavicle and got blood. Needless

to say the poor student who was standing there passed out cold!

We do not have another hospital. We are " the medical center " for

this region. Oh there are a couple " podunk " hospitals that I

wouldn't take a dog to. This is a chronic problem and they have

their " Rules " they are suppose to only stick twice. Well the IV

team and I have an agreement they can get another IV team member to

try twice. They numb it up so its not bad, but never a vein. Its

terrible.

Thanks for the smile Poncho I needed that! Also some pretty common

sense advice.
