the phrase " the management of celiac disease " does not come up on

that renewal site

http://www.scils.rutgers.edu/~lesk/copyrenew.html

a page on copyright renewal

http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/renewals.html

sidney haas died in 1964 so i would say the book almost certainly was

in the public domain

putting it on the web is the way to go, its just not economic too

reprint and the web reaches a much larger audience

does not

copyright, and I found this out. If a book was copyrighted in 1951,

the copyright was due to expire in 1978. So, if the publisher never

renewed the copyright on Dr. Haas's book, we are free to do whatever

we want...reprint, record in audio format, ect. There's a data base

where you can look up whether or not a copyright has been renewed.

I'm going to try to look up the book, but I've been told that the

site is not so user friendly. It may be really unfriendly for my

speech software on the pc. If I can't get it to work, would someone

else be willing to take a look? This is pretty exciting because it

looks like the book is public domain now.
