The dr. gave him oral zovirax which is an antiviral medicine. He seems to be clearing up quickly. My dd wocf had the chicken pox first, and hers lasted a lot longer. I guess the worry is that it is an inhaled virus, and can affect the lungs. HTHs. I quizzed my dr. and this is what he said.
