well, have you ever just had enough of drs. offices???? I have been in one

since 11am this morning and I got home at 6:30 tonight.

went to get her MRI results at 3pm and the dr was running 2 hrs

behind. She had a 4:30 appt with the Gyn. She had to leave at 4:15 to get

to the Gyn. She begged and pleaded to be seen early or to have the nurse

just give her the results of to have the dr call her. They said " NO You

have to be seen by the dr " . it scared her and me half to death.

So we left for the GYN in hopes that we would get in and out and go back

before 5pm to the other dr. LOL Well, he was running late too. Plus he

wanted to talk about his air conditioning in his office going out and that it

would cost $20,000. LOL They were nice enough in this office to have ice

cold bottled water to give us. (It was 106 outside). Gyn told her that the

precancerous cells were not inside her cervix this time and that he could

freeze them off or just wait 3 months and check again. She opted to wait 3

months. He felt good about that decision too. So that was good news.

We then snuck over to the PCP's office at 5:30 and I said lets go see if they

really lock the doors at 5pm. We went upstairs and the door was locked but

the last person out didn't shut the door all the way. LOL So in we went. No

one was in the office so we went around back, found his nurse who was shuting

off the computers and told her we would see the dr now. LOL Well, she wasn't

too happy but she put us in a room and turned the computer back on. LOL

Bottom line is that she has a torn meniscus in her knee. This means surgery.

Hopefully they will do arthroscopic surgery and the recovery will be quick.

She has to wait for a referal to the orthopedic surgeon. (and she picked a

really cute one too.)LOL

So I thank you again for the good thoughts and prayers, they are really

working. Oh. I gave my PCP a brochure and he was really impressed. I asked

if I could put some in his office and he said yes, he'd like about 50 so I

left them all over his waiting room ( he had the little boxes to put them in)

and he also put them in the individual rooms. So that is a plus. In will

take more tomorrow to the hospitals and other drs.

is still sick, I will let you know tomorrow after her appt at 9am what

is happening with her.
