Here is an update.

I saw my GI this morning and he is attempting to keep me out of the

Hospital, so not to mess up the appointment. I was in the ER last

night and they ended up doing an IV in my foot because the veins are

bad.

Today I saw the Surgeon so I could discuss options. It was

suggested by the Family doc to have a port placed because of the

vein issue. I am having the surgery done at 11:30 in the morning.

It will be done out patient so I can still go for my appointment in

Cleveland.

I will be leaving for the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday morning. We

are not sure yet what will happen when there. The GI that I am

seeing here thinks that he will keep me for a few days for testing.
