Guest guest Posted August 17, 2002 Report Share Posted August 17, 2002 Hello Glenda and Everyone! It's been a busy summer. After Janice graduated, I had a wisdom tooth removed - finally wise at 42? LOL! Zach had little league until the end of June and went to camp for a week, he had a great time. Then the trial for my brother's murder went on for a couple of weeks in July - this was a very stressful, emotional experience! The guy was convicted of two counts of first degree murder and two counts of committing a felony with a firearm - he gets sentenced on Monday - Life in prison without possibility of parole is a mandatory sentence. Turns out he killed my brother and another man because they were hunting in the state game area next to his property and he was extremely territorial! Is that incredible or what? This happened almost 12 years ago - so I'm glad this is finally going to be over and we don't have to wonder what happened anymore. While the trial was going on our friend in Canada was killed in a car accident but the memorial was delayed for a month. Last week another friend from work died of cancer, her memorial is Monday, it's been quite a year! Most of the family has been sick with sinus infections but are now all healing up - I of course ended up with it and had to go off the enbrel and add in an antibiotic and extra inhaler for a couple of weeks - glad that's over! Janice gets moved to the dorm next Friday - this will be very interesting - she will be about an hour away so not too far! Matt starts college in a couple of weeks also, he's talking about moving out with his buddies in mid-September - poor Zach will be home alone with Mom & Dad! I think he will be going through sibling withdrawal! Hope everyone is doing well - I try to peak in on you when I get a moment!
