I do like to pan fry small steaks. We have a popular recipe for Squash Fries which can be baked or deep fried, but we all know the deep fried taste more crisp. I often make meat in a ridged grilling pan. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac

Cooking meat in a pot or frying on a pan are both legal as long as you use legal ingredients. In terms of easiest to digest, boiling (eg. homemade chicken soup) or broiling (eg. broiled ground beef on intro diet) are easiest to digest. Both are low in fat. Fat is harder to digest for a damaged gut. As a person begins to heal on the diet they will notice that fat doesn't bother them as much and they can start trying other methods of cooking meats: stewing, braising, frying etc..
