I used to get a day in hospital just from being on pain meds that I

could have slept the entire day..nurses would want me to get up, but

I just can't do it..it's almost as if I have been given an

anaesthetic and try to keep awake with it but fail...

I had to go back to my surgeon due to pain and pressure on my

bladder. No tumors that he can feel by palpation, but he there could

be a chance it may be growing deeper internally. Give myself a week

and if symptoms don't ease up he'll arrange a CT scan for me....then

he asked if I wanted to find anything at this time, and I said no

way, that I would probably wait until August...don't want to find

anything to stop my trip in a few weeks time.

's been on and off all day. She's rebelling against medicine

now. Brings it up if I can get it into her mouth..so bought the

chews for her tonight, but she even fights them...It has totally

knocked her out..has a antihistamine in it ...hopefully we'll both

get some sleep tonight.

I had a good mother's day..and I got garden stuff too...a few wind

chimes to hang on the trees in the yard, and other gardening tools

and a book to read on the plane.

If your pain meds aren't working right for you..get it altered so

you can be more comfortable.

As for a way to say thankyou to the School and Church people, I'd

send the teachers a Mc's Breakfast, or if there is a cafe or

deli nearby..a breakfast from them...you know..lots of donuts,

danishes, fruit tray and orange juice..something the business could

organize..you just tell them what you'd like to be able to do..hubby

could pick it up if they can't deliver, and a card with a huge

thankyou on it...

For the church people, a lovely arrangement of flowers to put on the

pulpit???? for everyone to see come Sunday morning, with a thankyou

message from you and your family...

Or just a card or letter of thanks to them all....can't think of

much else..
