My 21-month old son is getting his DOC band this week and I am really concerned

whether or not he will keep it on. Can anyone tell me how easily it is for a

child of this age to take the DOC band on and off? I know he has to wear it

23/7 and I am concerned how I will especially monitor it when he is sleeping in

his crib at night. I am hopeful that he will lke wearing it, but also

anticipate it may bother him. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If you do have issues with him undoing the velcro, get a metal barrette and put

it over the velco. That kept my daughter from opening the velcro opening, but

she was only about 13 months old. If that doesn't work, ask CT for suggestions

on what you can use to keep him from pulling at the velcro. I know there are

other ideas, I just can't remember what they were.

HTH!

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try this if the velcro strap is a problem.

I appreciate your help.
