Guest guest
Lucy, I wear a medic bracelet when I travel or am going to be away from family and friends who are familiar with my medical " opportunities " and anytime I fly. My son (he is 11) wears a necklace with the medical charm on it. It is engraved with pancreatitis on the back. He tends to wear his everyday because he is still in public school, uses school buses for transportation, and is a typical 11 yr old boy when he is not hurting too badly. I, personally, get angry when I see the medic bracelet on my own arm every day (denial issues, I'm sure~)....so it is only something I do when I feel " at risk " in public.
