After our second round of chelation we had a serious yeast flare up.

Clay red poop and lots of stimming, my guy has been running up and down

the halls for three days straight. SCD finally gave us solid brown

poops and I am so distraugt to see them go. What do I do for his yeast.

we were using GSE before but now I've doubled it and it is still not

working. Is Oil of Oregano Legal? We also use Scdophilous and OLE.

Also, help me with dosage, my son is 24 mos and 24 lbs.

You didn't say how long he's been on SCD. Healing the gut on SCD enables the

body to chelate metals out naturally.... but if significant gut healing had not

happened first, the chelation treatment really seems to wreak havoc for some

kids.

Were you using GSE continuously? Yeast is notorious for developing resistance

to just about any anti-fungal, including the natural ones. Gotta keep rotating

them.

Yes, Oil of Oregano is legal if you just use the pure oil. You'll just have to

start with a very small amount and see how it goes. My daughter was about 6 yrs

old when I used it with her for a while.... I just went with one drop, mixed in

food, 3 times a day (she can't swallow pills or capsules). If you have to use

the oil mixed in food, like I did, you'll find that it is HOT and spicy....

pretty hard to get any more than one drop into a kid.

Have you considered one of the anti-yeast enzymes like Candex? It is SCD legal

and some swear by it. The next best remedy, according to some of the experienced

moms I trust, is fresh carrot carrot juice with fresh garlic pressed in. The

recipe/procedure is in the " Files " section at this groups homepage, under " Yeast

remedies " .

Make sure you're always giving the anti-fungals some hours apart from the

probiotics.... or you'll just kill them all off, too.
