Guest guest
Eilish had her clinic visit today. Her PFT's were down but he said 6 year olds are not that reliable at blowing well anyway. However she is going in next Tuesday(not tomorrow) for 14days of IV's. She is quite happy about this as she loves being in the ward. I on the other hand ...................... Anyway at least she will 100% by Christmas. I did have a weekend getaway booked secretly for and I but that is off now because it was in the 14 days of IV's. Oh well another wedding anniversary next year. She will be out for the Wiggles concert so that is good. So for this week she will now be on Cipro. and Colistin up until the IV's. Guest guest
That's too bad about the tune up and getaway conflicting. It doesn't have to be actually near your anniversarry for you to have it though does it? We like to get away for a weekend between now and Christmas. It makes it nice slowdown from the holiday rush. I hope Eilish is feeling beter soon and maybe you'll get out early. Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf
Guest guest
Howdee We are heading into WCH the week you'll be leaving. Can't believe it but it's worked out we'll be able to attend Nicky's Year 10 Graduation the morning before Kristy is admitted. The clinic staff have been really helpful! Kristy's sinus surgery is on the 12th and she's being admitted to start iv's on the Wednesday. Our dream year came to an abrupt end about a month ago after Kristy picked up something going around school which also set off her asthma badly. As a result she spent a night in a local hospital. She has clinic again on the 24th so we'll see what they say, the oral antibiotics and extra physio seem to be just working if you know what I mean. Hope Eilish picks up really quickly and sorry to hear about your weekend away. Hope the Wiggles concert is good, the girls liked seeing them when we lived in Gawler many years ago Barbara > Eilish had her clinic visit today.
