How successful is the DOC band with brachy?

Our baby has mild plagio but moderate brachy. I feel like the plagio could even

correct itself since she's sleeping on her stomach now.

I'm more worried about the brachy. Because the back of her head is wider than

the front, the sides flare out. As a result her face look wider than normal.

Our DOC band clinician said there's nothing that can be done about this

appearance, because to paraphrase her words " you can't push in the sides of the

head. " She said the cephalic index would improve, but the problematic appearance

remains.

I didn't understand this b/c I thought that's the whole point of the band. Has

anyone else had experience with this?
