Guest guest
Hi to all and I hope everyone is having at least a relatively pain- free day!! Just wanted to ask if anyone has any info on the pancreatic enzyme replacement (as it were) via the drug Lipram or Creon or any other for that matter. Specifically, if it worked well for you, not well, sort of well and how long it took to be at all effective? I'm thru almost a week of it, and though the pain has not gone away, it seems to have diminished a bit....HOWEVER, I've also been eating nothing but bread products for most of the week as well. Tonight I'm giving myself an experiment (and actually sitting here dreading what the results might be in about 20-30 mins after eating -- seems to be the time it takes to trigger the pain anyway) and I had a Smart Ones/Weight Watchers sort of an italian angel hair pasta with some veggies, only 4 gms of fat.....fat's a trigger too it seems. Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing your experiences with the pancreatic enzymes. thanks!!
