Guest guest
Hi Sonja, Another consideration might be that your swollen glands could be connected to a spring time allergic reaction to pollen. I think it's likely that you might have a lot of plants beginning to bloom at this time of year. An easy test would be to try a little OTC allergy medication and see if that helps your problem. Guest guest
Here is a picture of a swollen sub-mandibular gland (you may have to cut and past this link to get it to work) http://www.surgical-tutor.org.uk/default-home.htm?system/hnep/salivary_benign.ht\ m~right All I can say about how it feels is it hurts! And when it gets really bad you can get pus and gravely type stuff coming out into your mouth, which is nasty.I use philocarpine (salagen) to help with mine. Makes me sweat quite a bit but does keep the salivary glands open Margaret " Sonja " wrote: > > Hello, just a quick answer, I have had problems in my mouth and > want to ask those of you who have had swollen salivary glands, how it > felt, what symptoms.
