Guest guest
Ainslie has been having accupuncture for the past 7 weeks now. She currently has a virus which is giving her croup and we have not had to use her stronger antibiotic cipro. The doctor giving her the accupuncture started out with laser and has slowly built her up to having 5 needles!!!!! Two of which are usually attached to a battery to increase the intensity of the treatment. I am truly amazed by her agreeing to this treatment, although she complains about having to go, but when given the option to quit she doesn't want to. My gut feeling is that she feels better at the moment due to the accupuncture. If you ask her she says " it doesn't seem to be doing anything " in a typical preteen manner. We will probably continue through out our summer holidays just once a week and then come off it - not sure we will have to wait and see. Depends on the finances as well. We are happy with the results so far, now Ainslie has gone 6 months wihout cipro which is a record since she started on it when she was 6 - now she is 11. Terri from Hobart mum to Ainslie 11 wcf and Connor 7 nocf - not even a carrier
