Guest guest
Hi, My husband suspects and 's chiro confirmed that 's forehead has some swelling. For those of you following my emails, I'm wondering if the swelling could account for that scan where his head circumference shrunk 3mm. The scan before which was back in June showed more than expected growth and a lot of it in the forehead. That was the first scan in the helmet. After that, the scans only went up 3.5mm in over 3 months. The chiro also thought the right may be more swollen than the left. I really hope so, since his forehead looks no better than when we started the helmet. Maybe, that is why the asymmetry actually went up ..5mm between the last two scans a month apart, but the back looks visually slightly improved. The last scan was taken on a hot afternoon. It showed the 3.5mm growth, but mostly in the forehead. Of course, if we are getting that little improvement that the fluctuations in forehead swelling cause the asymmetry to increase, we are not getting much overall improvement. This may explain some of the measurement error though. Has anyone experienced this type of thing? Any ideas? Maybe, I'm just dreaming that part of 's forehead asymmetry is just swelling. -Kathy, mom to , 16 months, 4 months in Starband
