Guest guest
My daughter-in-law in Georgia wants to have our life saving surgery. She currently has no insurance and is considering getting Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia. We have a few questions. I know the BCBS of NC is the one that pays the bill, but does anyone know if there is a 'pre-existing exclusion' on the surgery. I know Georgia now has a law preventing a Ins co from denying the surgery, but does it affect the pre-existing part of it? Also, as you all know I am old and senile, and do most of my lurking here at 1 and 2 in the morning with my eyes half closed. I do not know if I read this or dreamed it, but I dimly remember reading something about Dr R and/or DRH not accepting BCBS any more because of them paying so little. PLEASE tell me I am a senile old lady and I just dreamed it!!!! She is interested in having it done at the Outpatient facility. Do they accept BCBS?????? Thanks for the info!
