Guest guest
Hi all, My ultrasound was done this week, as well as my meeting with the surgeon to look at the lyphoma's that I have in my shoulder and arm. They are scheduling me an MRI to look at the lyphoma's, but the doctor felt that they " probably " weren't anything to worry about. I was disappointed with the results of my ultrasound to look at the pseudocysts. The one in the mid portion of my pancreas has actually increased in size, it's now 6x5 cm. Last check it had gone down to 4x5 cm. I don't know what is causing it to enlarge like this, especially since I have been feeling so much better, most of the time. The other pseudocyst in the tail has reduced to 3x3 cm. from 4x3 cm. three months ago, and is completely full of debris. One again, the technician gave me wallet-sized photos so I could keep up with their status. My doctor wasn't there to comment, I will be seeing him on the 30th. I told the surgeon about the results, though, and he just shook his head, and told me how awful it was to have to deal with the unknown. He was very sympathetic about it, saying he wished he could help me, but said there was nothing he could do. He's the one who said he wouldn't consider surgery on the pseudocysts, that it was too much of a risk because of their locations and the weird positioning of my pancreas. So I will just continue on as is........I hope everyone's having a good day today. Think good thoughts, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
