Guest guest
Hi Chrissy, Well, you've reached the last day before you go into hospital and you've done it with typical and remarkable courage and good humour, despite setbacks. I've been thinking about you all day. It's now almost 4.00 pm in the UK. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow; I know you're several hours behind us. I'm not sure how many but I'll find out this evening before I go to bed. I want to think about you at the right time tomorrow. 1.00 pm your time, right? As you go down for the op, remember that everyone is with you, fighting all the way. You'll be fine. Your man is so well- known and respected. Is he a surgeon? Will he be supervising the operation? I'm afraid I've forgotten whether he is a physician or surgeon. As I told Sonja, I'm spending this afternoon marking (ugh!) in the garden. Later I'm going to go swimming. I'm hoping it will help with the joint and muscle pains as well. I've also started on a regime of EPA (omega 3), glucosamine and turmeric in the hope that these supplements will help all pain, especially joint pain just now. The EPA fish oil may also help the brain to stay less addled for longer! Well Chrissy, I'm sure I'll send another message before you actually go in but be sure I'm thinking about you to-day. I know you'll be busy getting ready, packing the necessary etc. so it's all the more special that you've found time to post support messages on the board. Speak later, With love Fliss
