Guest guest
Hi Dr. Rutledge: I just went to the part of the website where you can calculate how much you can expect to lose month by month after your MGB. The average for four months at my starting weight (319) is 64 and that is exactly how much I have lost. This past month has been particularly fun because people are really starting to notice and comment on my weight loss. I find myself for the first time in a long time really looking at myself in the mirror. Previously I was a master at seeing only from the neck up and ignoring the ugly truth. I like what I see - not just that I am smaller, but I see a person who is more confident and who has a great deal of pride in her appearance. I have an appointment on Tuesday to take 100 items to a resale shop. How exciting to know that I won't be wearing those things again. Thank you again. I hope you don't get tired of being thanked because I don't think I'll ever get tired of saying it. Ann Lange 6/05/00 319/255 RR Rutledge, M.D., F.A.C.S.
