Guest guest
Antoinette, I can't thank you enough for the two very informative explanations that you posted last week regarding phenols and vitamins in food. I had a lot of confusion about why my boys were getting spacey and having the red cheeks so often and then it would clear up. I didn't know what I was and was not doing. It turns out that too many bananas and apples and any other high phenolic foods in one day was overloading their systems. I still give them bananas but no more than 1/2 a day right now until more healing takes place and also not at the same time as apples (peeled and cooked). Also, I have worried about what type of supplements I should be giving my boys and still am researching the best supplements for them. But until then, it is good to have a detailed list of what vitamins can be found in what foods. Thank you for all of your help with this. You have your hands full feeding a family of five this healthy diet, and yet you take time to help others and offer guidance as you are able.
