Guest guest
Hi, We investigated Pasadena and had our eval there. Benita was our consultant and we ended up talking with Alissa. Our impression is that Alissa is the most experienced. Benita was extremely nice and wanted to help us. The only thing is she said they would a do a band for my son, when technically they could not. My first pediatrician recommended it and when I went there I felt uneasy about the fact that there were only consultants. Then I changed pediatricians and and my new doctor recommended the band also. She sent me to Gr Graham at Cedars, I went for an evaluation and he said the same. I ended up staying with Cranial Technologies because I have another friend from my baby group that went there and got the best results. My consultant in Benita. She is sweet and kind to . My friend had Theta. I have seen her a few times and for my initial consult. She is great too. If you need anything I am happy to help. I go every Tuesday for appointments. Hope this helps, Brown Mother of 5 months, 2 weeks and 3 weeks in the DOC Band > > we are going to have my 6 month old son (born 2 months early) fitted for a doc band at cranial technologies today. Has anyone been to the Cranial Technologies in Pasadena? If so, who was your orthotist and what was your experience like, was it successful? I also want to know if members in general went straight from an eval by a pediatrician to an orthotist, or if members first had their children evaluated by a specialist for plagio before getting the helmet made. Our pediatrician referred us to CT, but never referred us to a specialist....I am concerned about that. I have made appointments with specialists on my own, but can't get in right away, so I am likely going to get the helmet made first (any thoughts will be helpful), as I understand time is of the essence....I welcome any feedback please!! > Thanks, > Kim >
