Guest guest
Hi: I would like to respectfully suggest to both groups that we now drop COMPLETELY the whole discussion of 's website, the new egroups list, and any further discussion of anything to do with either of it. I suggest that your concerns and responses either be posted directly to or to her website, or if you have a complaint, to Dr. Rutledge. If posts something inflammatory or of interest on the MGB list, I think the appropriate response would be either to ignore it, or again, to post directly to her or to her MGB-Truth list. I don't want to censor , I just think that others have to steer around her, since she doesn't do a very good job of sharing the road, so to speak. The point is, we have lives, jobs, and families. Some of us have upcoming surgery to think about, while others have the serious business of investigating the MGB and whether it's right for them. Some of us are getting used to being postops, and the older postops are enjoying their new lives. This isn't a call to sugarcoat or cover up any problems or questions you may have. But let's get on with the real business of this list - to support each other, to listen and respond on questions regarding surgery and how it affects our lives. Dr. Rutledge learns a lot from our posts, and these lists are one of our most important tools in this process of having and living with the surgery. We do need to ask the tough questions, of each other and of Dr. Rutledge. What's going on now is a serious distraction from more important business. I hope that this is taken in the spirit that it's intended. I don't mind feedback. Thanks, Blair
