I have been approved by my insurance...I plan to have my packet out

to Dr. R by the end of this week. I hope everything I send in is in

line and that he approves me for the procedure. I would like to have

it as soon as possible.

I have been reading all the posts for months and 's posts have

me a little upset. Not for the fact that I'm having second thoughts

about the surgery it's just that I feel bad for her. I know I would

more than likely feel the same but I wouldn't lash out out Dr. R.

After all, is that not why Dr. Rutledge insists on everyone doing

extensive research on the procedure. Weighing the pros and cons.

There's no guarantees in anything that we do. If we want it bad

enough we have to reach out and take the chance. There are lots of

risks involved in this procedure as Dr. R. explains and it's not

suppose to be an " easy " way out. We have to change our whole

lifestyle and it's definitely not going to be easy.. That's why we

have to have written support from our families to help us through.

I personally have weighed the pros and cons, and regardless of the

risks that are involved I want to give this a try. I feel that it's

my only chance left to get a chance at " life " . I feel that Dr. R is

very knowledgable and confident in what he's doing. If it doesn't

work for me, then it wasn't meant to be. It's a chance that I want to

take. I haven't had the pleasure to meet him personally yet but I

hope to within the next two weeks or so.

Thanks for listening.....everyone is in my thoughts and prayers...
