Well I doubt your hearing will be held on the same day as the wedding. The government doesn't work on saturdays..<S>. Chrissy, Yeah, I know that, we already figured it would be the day before..............LOL! The wedding arrangements are still in process, we get a little further ahead each couple of days. Finalizing the floral stuff this week and trying to bring that estimate down, which is so hard because I just love flowers.....everything is going to be stargazer lillies, casablancas, hydrangeas (white and blue), freesia's, ranuculus, tulips, stefanotis, stock, tweedia, and some roses and daisies. We're still working on the band and the music. I have to secure a site for the bridesmaid's bruncheon, 's talked to ph's Restaurant and I have to follow up with that and set it up. The rehearsal dinner is at Anson's and everything for that is the groom's mother's doing. We are also setting up a Thursday night private birthday dinner just for my family members to celebrate my father's 81st birthday at Peninsula Grill...his birthday is the day before the wedding. Still lots to do and things to finalize. 's not seen her dress yet, it arrived three weeks ago and we've got the first try on and fitting on August 7th in Savannah. I'm sorry you're still feeling so wiped out about everything. You've been through so much this year, though, Chrissy, that it would be unnatural for you to feel otherwise. This year has brought nothing but one monumental issue after another, and in retrospect, I think you've handled it all so well. I know you want to get a third day of work in your schedule, but do you really think that you're up to it yet? Aren't you still pretty knocked out by just doing the two days? I just hate to see you rush back in and get yourself too overladen with the responsibility and the long hours of it all. It's not like going back to some stress-free office job where all you do is answer the phone or something equally as easy, you know. It's a hard, serious job with ever constant demands of precise decisions and total clarity, which must be very difficult to do if you're in any kind of pain. The pain can just wipe the mind of rational thought sometimes......at least I know it does with me, and I doubt there are many people that can say that they aren't disturbed by it. If you think the block would be a good thing to try to gain some time and to get rid of some of that pain, then you ought to give it a try. Have you talked to about it, and if so, what does he think about it? I know when I was considering it about two years ago the doctor said to me, " what do you have to lose? " That made me think hard about it, but then my diabetic ketoacidosis starting happening and we dropped it. I think that if I'd stayed in as bad shape as I was then I would have gone ahead and tried it. just to see. So just take it easy as you can, when you can.....things are moving ahead and hopefully you will see improvements as they do. I still want for us to get together some day when I'm back up in ton. I don't know yet when the next trip up there is, but I'm pretty sure I'll be up there on the 19th of August, because and I are planning on flying up to NYC on the 20th to have a girl's weekend in the city, compliments of my sister, with my sister. I plan to go up to ton a day ahead, (Thursday) so we can fly out first thing the next morning. Is that one of your working days? We'll have to discuss this further. Meanwhile, Chrissy, just keep your chin up and do try to just take things one day at a time. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
