Needing post-op contacts

First I want to thank Blair and Cathy for helping my figure out how

to work this egroup! After a week I'm finally understanding it.

I am a pre-op just getting started and needing my contacts. I have

many, many questions. I'm looking for willing post-ops that don't

mind me bending their ear.

Also, I live in Knightdale, and am wondering if anyone has started a

support group in this area (Raleigh-Cary-Durham). Would love to get

together with some pre-op for support in getting through the packet

and insurance approval. And of course post-ops to hear their

POSITIVE expierences.

Hi Susie,

I live in Warrenton, which is 60 miles north of Raleigh up near the

Virginia border. I had my MGB on 7/17/00 and have lost 40 lbs. so

far. I will be happy to be a contact for you. Just email me a list of

There is a support group that meets at Durham Regional Hospital the

fourth Saturday of each month (except this month there is a picnic on

the 30th instead, I'm sure you've read the posts about that.)
