Guest guest
I'm new to the list and delighted I've found others that may help me with my concerns. My 8 yr old son wcf has been battling pseudonomas for a month or so that we know of.After double vest therapies, triple albuterol, tobi, and cipro, he is still somehow not able to fight this darned bacteria off.He has had a colonization before but the tobi knocked it out.Now drs want to admit him for iv zithromax(sp?) for 2 weeks.I'm scared to death!I have 2 more wocf that are 3 & 4 and I cant figure out how to juggle my full time job(thats frankly sick of me needing time off to care for him), take care of my other 2 and be with my cfer at the same time. Its my understanding that I can learn how to take care of the iv so he can spend the majority of the 2 wks at home, but I'm uncertain that I can pull it off.Does anyone have any imput as to which is the better way to go, letting him stay in the hospital or coming home?I have dogs and cats.(With 3 kids its more like a zoo than a home lol)Please respond with any personal experiences or thoughts you have to the site or by emailing me:hark523@...
