Well, you'll be pleased to know that my ear-gluing experiments are on

hold, as the backs of my ears are still a bit tender, two days later. :(

If nothing else is accomplished, at least I've prevented some SOB

plastic surgeon from patenting the idea!

Experiment #4: Tape rolled 1/8 " thick, bent into curve, placed

between two flat pieces of tape and trimmed all around to make 1/4 "

flap -- Didn't displace cartilage in normal adult antihelix, but

held very securely with the glue on surrounding flap, roughly three

times as much glue overall. (One 0.5g pipette now empty after all

experiments.) Unexpected result: scalp hair caught under flap could

deter splint removal.
