Yes, the numbers I have, anywhere from 2000 - 8000 each attack are high. I

am able to get them back to normal within five days or so, so far. I am

admitted on morphine, dilaudid, iv fluids, NPO. So far, I have experienced

minimal

damage to my pancreas. I have pancreas divisum. Due to the stenosis - I have

one of those flare-up attacks about every six months or so. For some reason,

I have the same cycle for the past five years. I ALWAYS have attacks in

October, Feb/March, and sometimes in June (I feel crummy today and am praying I

don't get another attack).
