Guest guest
I just finished the book tonight (9th edition; I've ordered a new one with the autism chapter), & have a question first off about diarrhea. This may sound odd, but what IS it exactly, in terms of the diet? The way I typically think of is very loose stools, watery with painful cramping & /or burning. But none of us have that (except now & then but not regularly). The kids seem to have mushy stools quite often if not regularly. My 4yr old daughter often has undigested food in her stools. The baby has formed stools but I do believe he has yeast/bacteria issues anyway. Can he have gut issues, even though his stools are formed? In terms of the diet, does this mean intro diet for 2 days is sufficient? How will I know it's working; are we going for completely formed stools all the time? I also hope to see other changes in my children (behaviorial, developmental, autistic, etc). I will have more questions & hope you don't mind. I just highlighted through the book & made notes so I'll be re-doing that when the new one comes in & will try to look up as much as possible, but I already have some questions that I may need help with before we even get started. I really want to have everything together in my head & home before starting (which will probably take about a month yet). Thanks very much, Michele
