Lara Bars and multiple dates used - not legal???

I just received a reply to an e-mail asking Lara Bars about the kinds

of dates they used. The reply was that they use a variety of dates,

not just the majdol variety... I'm so sad to ask... but this means

they are not legal, right? I do hope I'm wrong, but have to ask why

digestivewellness.com is selling these as SDC legal if other kids of

dates are used.
