pancreatic stenting questions

Hi all, can anyone tell me approximately how long it takes to

recover from pancreatic stenting and pancreatic sphincterotomy???

It has been almost 3 weeks and I have only had 3 days which I did

not have to take pain meds. The nurse at the dr.s office said that

it is still too soon to tell if the procedure has worked for me. I

am supposed to find out tomorrow if the stent has left the panc duct

yet or not. I might need another xray to tell. I sure hope that

this pain goes soon. I am afraid that I will run out of pain meds

in the near future and have to go to the ER. I absolutly hate going

there. Any input or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
