With apologies for duplicate postings…

WANTED:

Health professionals and QI staff of Migrant/Community Health Centers

interested in testing a Quality Toolkit under development by HRSA! Learn

more about Quality Improvement and assist in refining the Toolkit through your

feedback.

On behalf of Management Solutions

Consulting Group (MSCG), a health care management and

information systems consulting firm and contractor for the Health Resource

Services Administration (HRSA):

HRSA's across agency Healthcare Quality Council has adopted a set of 12

clinical quality measures as the basis for an agency-wide quality improvement

initiative. MSCG has been charged with the development of a quality

toolkit of educational tools and resources to assist organizations in their

quality improvement (QI) efforts and to support the implementation and quality

improvement related to these quality measures. The web-based HRSA Quality Toolkit will include a wide

range of practical, convenient, and useful tools compiled from HRSA

organizations.

The HRSA Quality Toolkit will address the needs of QI

leaders responsible for effectively implementing a quality improvement program

into its organization. The resources are meant to be used by clinicians and

allied health professionals, QI directors and administrators.

How you can help:

Since the Quality Toolkit is being developed to support grantees in

their QI efforts, we want to provide grantees

the opportunity to review the Toolkit and provide their feedback through a

brief survey. Grantees can choose to review one or more of the

modules that are currently ready for testing. You can expect to spend

approximately 1-2 hours per module. Those modules include:

·

Introduction (an overview of the HRSA

Quality Toolkit)

·

Quality Improvement

·

Performance Measurement &

Management

·

The HRSA Core Clinical Measures

(an overview)

·

Diabetes HbA1c {Poor Control}

Additional modules will

be available for testing shortly.

If you would like to assist in making

this a great toolkit that truly meets your needs, please send a brief email to Kathie Baldwin, Project

Director at kbaldwin@... expressing your interest in testing the

toolkit. Upon receipt of your email a web link and directions will be

provided.

Thank you in

advance for your participation.

Please direct any

questions regarding testing of the Quality Toolkit to:
