There is a medication called Glucovance, which combines the two. But if mine is over 200 I add in one quarter of a 2,5 mg tablet usually with dinner. Do you have a good doc for diabetes? Also taking glyburide seems to increase your appetite which is always to be avoided!!! You should really talk to your doc about it. I find different doctors have quite different ideas about these things, but you have to work with what you have got!! The other thing that I do is try and exercise more because again this will dramatically improve your insulin sensitivity. This will improve your sugars also. Or more green veg. less pasta/potato/bread. But only you know what you are doing! A book that helped me a lot when I was first diagnosed is " Type II Diabetes and what to do " I feel with diabetes the more you know the better you are, and knowledge helps you control things better. Oh, dear, here I am on my soap box again!! All opinions are only my own!!! You can only do your best, feel better love Liz __________________________________________________

Heck I'll do anything not to go on shots. I haven't found my appetite going up so I guess I'm luck there. I'm on so many different medication for so many health problems that the number of pills I take is a meal in itself Sharyn -- Re: Diabetes Meds --- grandm4@... wrote:> Sorry, I clicked the wrong key.
