Guest guest
Hi Gang, Although I haven't posted in a while I am a daily reader of the board and it has been a lifesaver for me and my diagnosis of a pancreas divisum in '01. The past month has found me in and out of the hospital with flare-ups and the news that I will be a mom for the first time. Medications have been adjusted (dropped the nortriptyline and switched to zoloft) but am able to stay on the phenergan for nausea. I take dilaudid for pain but have cut back on my own will, fearing the consequences. I still take enzymes daily and try to take my prenatal vitamins but find they nauseate me sometimes. My questions go to you women who have been able to deliver and your stories of how you coped with attacks during pregnancy. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm 38 and trying to gain the needed weight. I got down to 121 on my 5'9 " frame, but am creeping up to 123 since I got out this past tuesday. I enjoy the chocolate ensure and try to drink them when I can. I am possibly 9-10 weeks along with a scheduled ob/gyn appt next week. Thanks for any info.
