hi i would like to ask can my child have fresh fruit uncooked eg

kiwibluberries,pinapples as he loves these also apples could you please

tell me have i done this wrong and why thanks nyomi...............

If you are new to SCD, all fruits need to be peeled, cooked and de-seeded. Kiwi

and blueberries would need to be strained after cooking, to remove the small

seeds..... and the blueberry skins could be strained out, too.

This is very clear in the book.... raw foods are harder to digest, so

everything needs to be peeled and cooked until significant gut healing has

occurred. This could be a differenent length of time for each individual.

The only exception is ripe banana.... those do not need to be cooked.
