Guest guest
OK. I've done a little bit of searching on expiration laws of copyright, and I found this out. If a book was copyrighted in 1951, the copyright was due to expire in 1978. So, if the publisher never renewed the copyright on Dr. Haas's book, we are free to do whatever we want...reprint, record in audio format, ect. There's a data base where you can look up whether or not a copyright has been renewed. I'm going to try to look up the book, but I've been told that the site is not so user friendly. It may be really unfriendly for my speech software on the pc. If I can't get it to work, would someone else be willing to take a look? This is pretty exciting because it looks like the book is public domain now. Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3yrs., asd Ethan 5yrs., Mark 1yr.
