Guest guest
Hello all....Most people who have known me for a long time know that my wife had Thyroid Cancer about years ago and we have been fighting it ever since. She has been radiated 6 different times to get rid of the cells floating around her body after having her thyroid totally removed. Well two years ago, we thought we were good to go, but she had a blood test this week and her levels are again elevated. What I should have done all those years ago was join a Thyroid cancer support group and learn all that I can, but I didn't do so until a few days ago. The prognosis with Thyroid Cancer is pretty good, but it still makes us quite worried. We will get through this, but if I am slow to respond to some of your emails, that is the reason. When she is off her Synthroid, Jen is hard to live with at times. She snaps for no reason at all the apologizes. Thanks for listening. I know it has nothing to do with panc.....but just needed to share. The one thing that I did find out though is that before her scan, she needs to be on a low iodine diet which of course our local expert has never mentioned......I should have known better... I hope this finds you and yours well Mark E. Armstrong casca@... www.top5plus5.com PAI NW Rep ICQ #59196115
Guest guest
Mark, I'm so sorry that your wife has had to deal with cancer. You are both in my prayers that her levels go down again and she goes into remission again. Take all the time you both need to help her with her health. Give your wife a hug from me (we can all use a hug when we have bad news). And give yourself one too! Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
