Guest guest
Hahahahahahahaha!!! Aren't kids the best! Pattimae (3 wcf) opened the door to the Schwan's man (sells frozen foods door to door) bare beam and buck naked the other day. He laughed, looked up at the sky and remarked that he had a three-year-old of his own. Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf Bev Bev, Funny thing that happened. I dropped into my mums this morning before clinic as I was dropping her in the city. Eilish had one of those clingy dresses on. I thought gee it hugs her little cheeks so I patted them and as usual (needs monitoring) Eilish was of to clinic without her knickers(undies). Eilish has been known to go to school 'free as a bird', but I thought we'd progressed to 'you must wear knickers'. So I said to her poor Dr when he lifts your dress to listen to you he'll loose his eyesight. Of course she wouldn't care less, but I did call into the hsp. kiosk and luckily they had a pair, which ended up being the most expensive knickers she's ever had. So this afternoon I put a pair in my glove box for 'emergencies'. Ah kids, were does that carefree attitude go.
Guest guest
Dear Bev, Eilish always feel well. They ask me each admission if she is lethargic. Never has she been unless she has gastro. or something but no for chest infections. Sounds like a wonderful family you've got. My poor grandma, none of her grandchildren live in the same country. I was born in Ireland and lived there till I was 4 (no memory of it) and then came to my home (Australia). All the others came to here and England so that's a shame for her. She's still alive and she's 98. I was warm on New Years Eve. I don't mind the heat so much as we have dry heat in Adelaide usually, but this past few weeks its been humid which I hate. Tomorrow is 104f so we will be hibernating. The nights are warm as well but most people have air-conditioning and we have ducted air at home so were fine. I am sitting up doing the IV's. Just waiting for the drug to finish so I can do the last flush then of to bed. I did go to bed about 9pm to get a couple of hours sleep. Have a great weekend. Love Eilish update Admission is going well. We got home this afternoon to do home IV's. Her bronc. showed nothing at all, so again that's great. And although she blew a great PFt last months admission (123%), and she still has a slight cough she blew even better today (145%). The dr's are amazed that she blows that well. Must be all the balloons she blows up. They also started to teach her PEP today. We had to buy the gadget and when the physio comes out she will have 1 session using PEP and the other session do CPT. At least by the time she is ready for school camps she should be able to do PEP and we wont have to tag along with her. She really enjoyed this admission ( like always). The ward was virtually empty so she had the run of it. She also helped the nurse behind the desk (nurse worked, Eilish played on the computer). And I loved that because it gave me time to read. So I hope everyone had a Happy New Year. Liam and I played UNO till midnight as we were here alone. (Australia)
