Dear Connie, thank you so much for the information,

and bye the way, how nice to hear from you! I hope

you are doing well. Yes I am pretty much OK, my slump

was only temporary, caused by a sandstorm, mostly. In

general I am doing very well, no real complaints. My

last lot of blood tests were PERFECT, even my

cholesterol, triglycerides and HB1ac (or whatever its

called!!) were within normal rnge, so my PCP reckons I

am doing something right, liver and kidney functions

fine, so I am pretty pleased about that!

Yes, I am starting on the doxycycline; Reem had it for

a month previously, for acne; it cleared her acne and

it has not come back. She had no problems

fortunately.

I am glad your friend with scleraderma is doing so

well, as that can be very nasty, Reem's grandmother

has it. She has done well with plasmapheresis.

Please give my best regards to your family, I hope we

can meet up again in the not too far distant future!!

Love Liz
