Guest guest
Dan normally when my ear is being affected it last only 2 days, i can immediately tell the difference when i go back up on my dosage of prednisone. My ears has never ballooned. It gets sore on the outer flat area right before entering the ear canal. Like Heidi said if you have not noticed a decrease in the pain, then you might need to up the prednisone if after 2 days and nothings changed. Contact your doctor, they would know better what dosage you need and how soon to start tapering. Take care Dan duration Hi Dan how much Prednison are you taking right now ??? It could be you areNOT taking enoughof it. Also what else are you taking with the Prednison ??? When Don firststarted with this RP he took Prednison + 600mg 3 x a day Ibuprofen. Pleasecall your DR. right away and tell him you are not doing any better. Thesooner you get it under control the lessDamage it does.
