Because it causes bone loss, my GP put me on it to help counteract that. Now of course, I need it for it's true purpose. LOL Just thought I'd let you know the other side to hormones. Hormones didn't cause my RP, I was put on it to help counteract the side effects of the drugs FOR RP. Go figure. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ...... I have taken hormones for 6 yrs and got RP about 2 yrs ago. Only problem I have with that is there are small ages that have RP also which Im sure have not been on hormones.
