Guest guest
Hi all, Just wanting to let you kow that I went to see my FNP. She was pretty decent to me. I always sweat going to the doctor. Even after all this time I still think I have to prove stuff each and everytime I see someone. Anyway, she refilled my rx for percocet. I always HATE asking for that as I feel like a druggie. But she also gve me LOTS of blood work to have done. I will not get the results back for 1 1/2 weeks as she is on vacation next week so I have to wait for her to come back. But she is checking everything all at once. Thyroid, amylase, lipase, that HB1AC and glucose test as well. There are a few other marks on the paper but these will do for now. She also told me to stop testing for now as I am getting these tests done at the lab, and it doesn't matter if I test at home for the time being. So I guess my fingers will get a rest, unless someone else has something to say differently on this subject. So thanks all for listening to me, helping me and giving me the courage to go to the doctor when I really needed too. Truth be told, I may bit have gone at all if you didn't give me that push. So thanks! Sandy in Ca
Guest guest
Sandy, That's good news that you went and these tests were ordered. Now, get the tests done and get your mind off it for a week and a half. Put up the glucometer and take a break from any worry until you have some actual facts to deal with. Just remember to bring us up to date when you get the results. I'll be praying for some good news. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
