Guest guest
SeaChoice is a joint project of several activist groups, including the Suzuki Foundation, the Sierra Club of Canada and the Living Oceans Society. They pooled their resources and came up with a wallet-sized reference card consumers can use when buying fish in a restaurant or grocery store. The cards tell people whether the seafood they are considering has been raised or caught sustainably, whether it's on the endangered list and whether eating too much of it might be a health hazard.
