Guest guest
my 2 1/2 yr old did not eat anything today but a few raisins and his juices. his stools are surprisingly solid but he got all his calories from juice. he has lost a couple pounds in the last 2 wks down to 27# (<25% for his age). he is skin and bones. we did not force feed him today and left food on plates around the house but he was not interested. i made the cheese cookies with half of the expensive farmer's cheese and he wouldn't touch them. he can hold out forever with new foods so even going off the intro and trying the new recipes may not work. i am at a loss. i need more suggestions for easy fun 2 yr old friendly foods & suggestions as to how to coax him to taste a new item. he is going to daycare tomorrow and will starve. his behavior was so much better which leads me to believe he may have milk sensitivities. maybe he isn't full of yeast like i originally thought. i would be happier if i could take him off nystatin. my twin 4 mos girls are both having very loose stools from milk based formulas like he did as a baby. i need to know what kind of baby formula to change them to. is there a dairy-free formula that isn't soy based? does anyone know if maybud brand farmer's cheese is legal. it was almost $5 for 8oz. what do i need to ask the manufacturer when i call the 800# about the ingredients? is powdered goat milk from a health food store legal? is dairy-free milk from vancesfoods legal? is it necessary to go to a DAN doctor to order the testing and supplements or can i get most of the supplements on-line and without a prescription? which supplements can i get without a prescription. i would like some digestive enzymes, probiotics, Cod Liver Oil, B6, B12, Nystatin, Zinc, Calcium, Selenium, topical chelation and Cormega, guitefane, oxyC, etc... is it better to do probiotics when on SCD and hold off on all of the other supplements until after you have been on SCD for a while then go and do more tests for yeast and nutritional levels before you add all those supplements and vitamins? should i at least be giving my son a multi vitamin? What are the real benefits of going to a DAN doctor? we have limited funding as does the person who wrote and asked wether the following tests were necessary: a.. CDSA b.. OAT c.. HAIR METALS d.. Pre and Post Urine metals with DMPS challenge f.. Antibody results for gliadin, tTG, soy, egg, casein, and yeast g.. IgG food antibody tests i never saw the responses for this question and would like to know which tests are a waste of money. what is the purpose of DNA testing?
