Guest guest
J., Has he ever been seen my an infectious disease doctor? I can see why the rheumatogist isn't seeing you as they deal with diseases of the joints, which your little one doesn't seem to have problems with. I don't know what to tell you other than to keep looking for an answer. A high ESR is characteristic of any type of inflammation in the body. A rash can be caused by a multitude of things and it's fairly common to have rashes with fevers. Can't they admit him into the hospital until they find out what is wrong? They should be able to do something. Is it possible that there's a food allergy? I hope they figure something out. kathy

Guest guest
Dear J., My 4 year old daughter has had the same thing. Have they mentioned ??? We are now trying to eliminate that before definitively diagnosing Systemic JRA. They are also looking at Familial Mediterranean Fever. Have they looked for any of those??? Guest guest
I know this question has been asked recently but what are 'normal' measurements? We just got our sons from CT who started his band on 12/1. His Cranial Vault is 12mm - Mid-Face is 5 mm - Skull Base is 8 mm. His Standard Deviation on his Cephalic Index is 3.41. What range does he fall in? Moderate? Severe?Thanks!- Cole - DOCband since 12/
Guest guest
Our doctor (cranio facial plastic surgeon) recommended banding at 10mm of asymmetry or more. Also with cephalic index of 90% or higher. With your numbers I would definitely band. (I don't remember what 3.41 equates to, but I think usually you want to be within 2 standard deviations). -christine sydney, almost 3 yrs, starband grad > > I know this question has been asked recently but what are 'normal' measurements?
